Prepared, not overwhelmed

You don’t have to figure this out alone.

Wildfire preparedness can feel like a long list of unknowns. Where do you start? What matters most? Who can help?

Wildfire Guardian brings the pieces together: personal guidance, practical home improvements, and a fire-retardant layer when the risk calls for it. You can make informed decisions at your own pace and protect your home without turning it into a second job.

  • A specialist to talk it through with you
  • Recommendations shaped around your home
  • Honest answers about what’s possible
Let’s talk about your home

How we protect your home

Two defense layers. More to protect your home.

Wildfire Guardian works on two fronts. Proven hardening methods lower the odds of loss every day of the year, and GraphGel™ is the surge response for the day a fire is bearing down. Every plan starts with knowing where your home stands.

Know where your home stands

One of our team walks the property with you and scores where your home sits today, and how each hardening step and the GraphGel™ layer moves it up.

Structural hardening

Durable, year-round measures aligned to the IBHS Wildfire Prepared Home™ guidelines: ember-resistant venting, roof and gutter upgrades, defensible space. Each upgrade is documented with standards and dates, so the file is useful later.

GraphGel™ surge

A fire-retardant gel applied to the surfaces of the home: siding, trim, decks and fences. Trained crews apply it ahead of elevated fire danger, and our crew removes it when the threat passes. ASTM E84 Class A, tested independently by Intertek.

“It’s a probability game. Nothing takes the risk to zero. Wildfire defense is how we make the odds of losing the structure as low as they can reasonably get.”

The kit

The GraphGel™ Applicator Kit, at your home.

We install the complete GraphGel™ Applicator Kit at your home: everything needed to mix and apply it. The only thing the property supplies is water. It is all in place before the day it matters.

Water where it’s neededA portable, collapsible water tank is staged at a sensible point on the property. Having water in the right spot matters as much as having water at all.

  2. 2

A pump that does double dutyThe fire pump applies the gel and works as a transfer pump, so usable water can move to wherever the property needs defending.

  3. 3

Full service, at any scale

One system, for one home or a whole community.

The two defense layers stay the same. Wildfire Guardian does the work for a single home, and runs the full response when a whole neighborhood takes part.

For your home

For communities & HOAs

Full community response

Coordinated hardening and a GraphGel™ surge plan across the whole neighborhood, run by Wildfire Guardian as one program. Insurers often weigh the risk of the whole community, so the board also gets documentation it can take to its carriers.

  • Community survivability baseline
  • Coordinated multi-property hardening
  • Rapid GraphGel™ deployment crews
  • Defensible space across shared areas
  • Board and carrier reporting

People you can place beside the work

Wildfire defense is easier when a known partner is already in the room.

Restoration partner · The Mountain West

Wildfire Guardian partners with Paul Davis so homeowners have a national restoration name beside the plan.

Wildfire Guardian assesses the home and sets the scope. Paul Davis’s licensed local crews do the hardening and apply GraphGel™ where it’s called for, and every step is documented in one file you can share with your insurer. You have one point of contact and one invoice.

“Adding Wildfire Guardian’s preparedness program and GraphGel™ to what we do lets us give the homeowners we serve a clear, practical way to prepare before a fire, not just respond after one.”

Plain answers

Home protection from wildfire, without the smoke.

Who is Wildfire Guardian?

Wildfire Guardian helps homes survive the fire. We work with homeowners, especially the person who looks after the house, on home protection from wildfire: a clear plan, practical improvements, and a GraphGel™ Applicator Kit already in place if a fire is bearing down. We serve homes and communities across California, Colorado, Utah, Nevada and Idaho.

What do you actually do?

We work in two layers. Year-round, we harden the home in line with the IBHS Wildfire Prepared Home™ guidelines, so the odds are lower every day. When fire threatens, trained crews apply GraphGel™ as a surge layer, a fire-retardant gel rated ASTM E84 Class A by Intertek, and remove it once the threat has passed. We install the complete kit at your home.

Who is this for?

Homeowners who want to protect their home and defend it without becoming a contractor, and communities that share the risk. We work with homes across California, Colorado, Utah, Nevada and Idaho, in towns such as Park City, Truckee, Vail and Reno and well beyond them. If your home is somewhere else, ask. We’ll tell you plainly whether we can help.

Is it proven?

ABC7 Los Angeles filmed a controlled burn demonstration in Agua Dulce: two identical structures, one coated with GraphGel™. The uncoated structure was fully engulfed. The coated one came through with minimal damage. GraphGel™ is rated ASTM E84 Class A, tested by Intertek as a 1/8 in coating on OSB wood panel. That is a laboratory surface-burning result, not a wildfire rating.

What does it cost?

Every home is different, so we don’t quote from a menu. Hardening is scoped to what your home needs, the kit and GraphGel™ are priced per property, and community programs are priced per neighborhood. The first conversation is free, with no obligation. Tell us about the home and we will come back with a plan and a number.

Does this guarantee my house will survive?

No. Nothing takes wildfire risk to zero. We help homes survive the fire by making the odds as favorable as careful preparation allows. GraphGel’s lab rating is not a warranty that any structure will survive a wildfire.

About insurance. A more defensible property can matter to your insurer. Colorado has directed insurers to offer discounts for defensible homes starting July 2026, and Utah’s scoring law is moving the same direction. Any discount is the insurer’s decision, not ours.
